Stevens-Johnson syndrome

Howdy!

My name is Robin Gonzalez. I am a Bryan, TX, native and have worked for the Bryan ISD District for 33 years. My daughter, Mallorie Gonzalez, started her journey as an employee with the Bryan ISD at Sadberry Intermediate School this year. Mallorie is 20 years old and was raised in Bryan, TX. She is an extrovert who loves working with kids, playing with dogs, helping others, caring, loving, smart, and genuine. Unfortunately, she started having seizures around 8 weeks ago. After a lot of doctor visits and studies, the doctor decided to put her on medication that caused her to develop a syndrome called 'Steven Johnson Syndrome'. Mallorie had severe migraines, fever, and flu symptoms for weeks, which led her to the hospital and then to the ICU burn unit in Galveston. She has been in the ICU for the past 12 days and is expected to be there until the end of the month, depending on the progress she makes. I am starting this GoFundMe, trying to raise money for medical bills and travel. As her mom, I am currently still working to maintain insurance and some income for her medical bills. If you could please take the time to read this story, my daughter and family would greatly appreciate it. Any donation is appreciated. Thank you all for your messages, calls, posts, and prayers.

May God bless everyone!
