Help Abudjana rebuild after war

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am reaching out on behalf of my resilient friend, Abudjana Mohamed, a 19-year-old electrical engineering student at the University of Sudan, currently residing in New Halfa, Sudan.

Despite the challenges he encountered during the war in Khartoum, Abudjana committed himself to volunteering in the emergency room in Grifeh West for a period of 122 days, aiding others in an area controlled by the Rapid Support Forces. Regrettably, he was arrested and physically harmed within the Rapid Support Forces' detention facilities. Compelled to leave Khartoum, he initially sought medical treatment in Medani and later moved to New Halfa, where he is now in good health.

How You Can Assist:

We have initiated this GoFundMe campaign to aid Abudjana in rebuilding his life. The funds raised will be utilized to help him acquire a new passport, covering transportation expenses and the logistical aspects of passport issuance. Additionally, this will also address the expenses of relocating to a more stable environment outside Sudan, allowing him to continue his university education.

Exciting Update:

Abudjana has been accepted into a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Program at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) on an OIC Partial Scholarship. The total tuition is $6,600, and he has already paid $1,000 for his first year. He will need to pay $2,000 annually for the next two years, and $1,600 for the fourth year.
