The Huffman Family

Hi, My name is Chase Huffman. In late December, our family experienced the scariest thing ever. My brother Chad (Caddie at Sage from 2017-2020) had an accident where he suffered a traumatic head injury that caused a brain bleed, brain swelling, as well as neurorrhaphy throughout his body which has made everday life difficult.

He was hospitalized for 2 months in the ICU as well as continuing visits and physical therapy. Although discharged and now home with us Chad still has a long way to go as well as a complete lifestyle change. Everyday care is needed for him at this moment which is what we are trying to navigate now. We will continue to get him monitored and pray that time will heal his body back to full strength.

Doctors say recovery is possible but only time will be able to tell. There are still many more medical visits to his primary dr, specialists, physical therapist, etc. Our family is willing to do anything we can to make his recovery here at home more comfortable.

As a close brother, my family is the most important thing in my life. I am so grateful to still have my brother with us and hope to share his progress in the future!
