Hygiene baskets for homeless women
Donation protected
Hello!
We are Kathleen Alves, Ashley Almeida and Emmjay Colon. We are juniors at Blackstone Academy Charter School in Pawtucket, RI. For our Service learning project, we will be making hygiene gift baskets for homeless and less fortunate women. A Service Learning Project or SLP is a project in which we identify a problem in our community and try our best to address it. We care about this problem because feminine products can be very costly. We know that homeless and low-income women may not have enough money to buy food, pay bills, and buy feminine products, especially during COVID-19. We wanted to make gift baskets filled with essentials for homeless women. We will be donating the baskets to the Sojourner House, a non-profit organization in Providence, Rhode Island. We are setting up this GoFundMe to receive funds to buy more products. Our goal is to hit $250 to buy enough essentials for as many women as possible.
Any donation would help!
