We are a group of local parents dedicated to sharing and circulating items in good condition within the community, providing savings for local families, and reducing waste.
At a community picnic in 2014, a few of us decided to bring some of the clothes and gear to be given away to others that could use them and the HY-Swap was BORN! We have grown from those few bags exchanged to hosting two huge events, one in the Spring and one in the Fall.
The HY-Swap events are the free exchange of infant, children’s and maternity clothing, gear, and toys-from our local community, for our local community. We take in donations of items from our local community for about a month and then spend two weeks sorting and organizing all the donations before creating a pop-boutique. And this is all FREE and done by volunteers.
Can you help us? Every dollar helps. We need to raise money to cover the costs the expenses each year (~$1,500 per event).
