Miss Brooklyn

The Deming family's life was turned upside down recently. Thanks to an amazing mama's intuition (Mandy), it was noted that Miss Brooklyn's head was growing abnormally fast. After requesting appointments, it was soon discovered that little Brooklyn has a very large mass in her skull. In a matter of a day, the Deming family went from normal life to a life of unknowns at Children's Hospital in Seattle.
A biopsy of the mass was collected on 9/30 and results will likely take a week. Brooklyn is having a port placed on 10/2 in order to start the necessary treatments required prior to scheduling surgery.
6 month old Brooklyn is such a trooper and has been a superstar so far in the hospital! She's enjoying having her mom and dads undivided attention, and is quite "chatty" with her care team. I'm certain she is a favorite of the nurses and doctors because she is the SWEETEST!
She has a very long road ahead of her though, and her family could really use some support! Brooklyn has a twin named Ellie, and a big sister named McKayla (who is almost 2!), as well as fur siblings which include 3 dogs and 2 cats! Luckily the kiddos have an amazing grandma caring for them while Brooklyn, Mandy, and Eric are in Seattle, but the time apart certainly isn't easy on them.
Any funds collected would go towards food and travel associated with the extended hospital stay which will likely be a minimum of 4-6 weeks.
I'm told the hospital food is actually pretty tasty (yay!), but it adds up quickly when it's one of the few options for parents. The hospital also has a Starbucks, so gift cards there would be greatly appreciated as well. They could be emailed to: [email redacted] or [email redacted]. Additionally, money gifts could be sent via PayPal to [email redacted].
This beautiful family could use any help they can get so that they can devote their precious time to their perfect little girls, as well as preserve energy to be strong for Miss Brooklyn. Money, prayers, and good vibes are all greatly appreciated!
Any unused donations will be donated directly to the Seattle Children’s Hospital ❤️
