Bernards Family Fund

Life does not seem fair sometimes and this is one of those moments. As we all have fathers and know that a father represents so many things for us, especially feeling safe when they are near. Bernard Breaux’s children have been robbed of this feeling of comfort on the 7th day of March 2016. Bernard Breaux was brutally murdered in front of his residence while outside barbecuing for his family. He and his two little boys Bryce (4yrs) and Brenan (2yrs) were in their front yard when two masked men gunned down Bernard Breaux shooting him eight times. It is still unknown as to why this 43 year old husband, father, brother, and friend had to endure such a devastating tragedy. Bernard Breaux leaves behind three babies Bryce(4), Brenan(2), Brooklyn(5 months) and a fiancé who was solely dependent on Bernard Breaux who owned his own Lawn Care Business “Breaux’s Lawn Care.” This business allowed Bernard to take care of his family financially. To dismay Bernard Breaux did not have any life insurance and now his Fiancé who is unemployed is left with a difficult task of having to bury Bernard Breaux and support 3 young children with little to no money. Bernards 3 year old son also witnessed his murder and therepy is advised to help him deal with the constant reminder of his father being killed in front of him. 

     We trust that beyond pain there can be healing and beyond absence there is presence. Although Bernard Breaux is absent from the body he is ever so present in the minds of his family and friends. He will live on in our memories and his children’s hearts forever. I pray that whoever reads this message allows God to lead your heart in the direction to sow into this grieving family’s life at the time when needed most. Your contributions will help with the burden this family is currently suffering with and that is raising the expenses to bury a loved one.
