Baxter & Friends

We at Healthy Paws Veterinary Care are advocates for our pet patients.
Our “Baxter and Friends” fundraiser aims to support service animals who serve our community. 

Right now, we are raising money for Baxter, a 10-year-old German Shepherd who has arthritis. Baxter is a rescue dog, certified service dog, and is currently making a big impact at an Orange County courthouse. He and his owner Cheryl Timmons volunteer their time to support human trafficking survivors. 

Baxter’s work takes a toll on his body and he needs rehabilitation to continue his work.

Weekly rehabilitation sessions include: hydrotherapy, physical therapy, cold laser therapy, and stabilization.


We’re asking for $5000 because of the costs of rehab therapy:

- $125 for a single treatment (rehabilitation treatment includes: laser, underwater treadmill, massage, floor exercises, acupuncture, and appropriate medications for joint support and pain)
-$500 for 1 month of treatment
-$1450 for 12 weeks of treatment

Surplus of funds will be saved and used for “Baxter and Friends.”
