Hi, my name is Toshya. Amanda, Lauren, Kelley, Tara, and I have put together this page to help Justin, Cassy, and Harlie get through this incredibly tough time.

Dear Friends,

On November 16th, our friend Justin had an accident while power washing a home. While coming off of the roof, the ladder slipped out from under him causing him to fall two stories and land on a cast iron railing post which lodged into his chest. He had to be airlifted to the trauma unit where they found he had broken his sternum and several ribs. His left lung had also collapsed. He is currently in ICU where the staff are working to help him heal and stay as comfortable as possible. Our hope is that he will be released from the hospital by Thanksgiving so he can spend time with family and friends.

Once Justin returns home, he will need a minimum of 6 weeks for his body to heal. His loss of wages and medical bills will add up over time. His wife, Cassy, will likely earn less while caring for him as well.

Cassy and Justin were hesitant to ask for help and had very mixed feelings about creating a gofundme campaign. We, as their friends, asked that they allow us to create the page as we know without a shadow of doubt they’d each do the same for us if needed.
