I am Fundraising for the 2023 Season

Hi, my name is Steve, I am fundraising to make my dream a reality!

This week I set out to become a full PDC Professional Darts Player at Q-School, based in Milton Keynes. 412 players entered the first stage, with only 80 places up for grabs to go into the Final Stage, I qualified in 32nd place which was a great achievement looking at some names that did not collect any points during the 3 days. The final stage is where it really mattered, with 128 of the UK/Europe's best players fight it out for just 13 Tour Cards. Unfortunately I was unable to collect one of these cards. I gave a very good account of myself, and I can now see where my game needs to improve...I'm very very close to doing something great.

For the remainder of 2023, I will be applying my trade on the PDC Challenge Tour (which starts on the 20th January 2023) along with WDF events, ADC Events, Local Opens and HOPEFULLY The Modus Super Series.

The vast majority of these are based on the mainland, so with living on the Island, the travel costs can really be a struggle. Which is why I am attempting to fund raise. For 7 Days at Q-School, Travel, Hotel and Food alone it has cost nearly £800. That was without the £450 entry fee on top. BUT this week has given me experience and opportunities that a price cannot be put on, and for that I am extremely proud and thankful for.

I have every faith that 2023 will be a successful year, alongside being a valuable learning experience going forward for years to come. In darting terms I am very young, so it can only get better from this point onwards.
