Hello, I'm Masood Belal Elagha, and I'm seventeen. My family and I are currently trapped in the Gaza Strip. I have a Spanish residency, and I am raising funds to help my family pay the expenses needed to cross the border from Gaza to Egypt.

Truly, I never imagined I'd seek help to save my dear family from death, but the indescribable circumstances we are living in drove me to do whatever is necessary to get my family out of this horror.

After my father passed away in 2021, life pushed me to grow up early and take responsibility for my family, including my mother, Noha, and my two sisters, Widad, 10 years old, and Zain, 20 years old.

Our lives have been absolutely shattered since October 7th. and instead of focusing on my education to earn my high school certificate so that I could go to university and study engineering, as had been my dream, my main hope now is that my mother, my sisters, and I would survive this dreadful war.

Nothing can describe what we are witnessing every day. We live in Khan Yunis, but due to heavy bombing, we had to take refuge in the Khan Yunis Sea area. Here, there is no access to basic living necessities. And to make matters worse, we lost everything, including our home, school, and childhood neighborhood, and, above all, many of our beloved ones.

Heavy bombardment drives you nuts; it never stops, it's everywhere, and there is no safe spot. I'm terrified that one of my family members will die in front of my eyes at any moment. I don't want to go through the grief of losing my mom or one of my sisters and being unable to help or save them. It would be easier for all of us if we all died together.

I can't describe my mother's face when I leave the refuge to get food, water, or medicine, because we both believe it could be our last look.

To escape from this disaster, our only option is to leave the Gaza Strip, but we need to spend 21,700$ to cross the borders. I wish I had another way to rescue my family rather than doing this, but I have no other option, and I am helpless in this nightmare we are living in.
