Doing hard things Project

Tax deductible
Hi I am Jacky and On August 1st I will be 21 years cancer free. I had Ewing Sarcoma and had to have my leg amputated because of it. To celebrate I will be running a minimum 21km (13.1 miles) every day until I reach 5250km/3262 miles, which is the same distance as running across America. The 5250km represents the number of people who are diagnosed with cancer every day and the 21 represents the years I have been cancer free. If I run a half marathon every day then it will take me 250 days to reach the 5250km some days I will run more miles to get to the distance faster, but will try my best to dedicate runs to as many people as possible. You can join me by running virtually or with me in person in Arizona. The location will be announced soon as some of the distance will be covered at a few fun races I have planned.

I will dedicate each run to someone who has either survived cancer, currently fighting cancer or who unfortunately lost their life to cancer. I will wear a race bib on each run with the person's name on it. I will also be raising funds for the Sarcoma Foundation of America.

I am one of the lucky ones to have survived and this is how I give back. We can all do hard things. Please consider donating.
