56 year male asking for help to get my prosthetic

- Hi, everyone I am updating my story because in August 2023, I went through five surgeries on my left leg and on the fifth surgery I lost my left leg from a hospital mistake that they covered up and covered themselves from any lawsuit and I struggled to try to get back on my feet and start working again. I manage with a little help from everybody to get by things got real tight. We lost the house we were renting because we could not afford it anymore ended up moving in to an apartment thought it was a real nice place. Come to find out. It is like living in a very bad area, we feel very unsafe then being in the hospital so much I had caught what they call Mercer in my foot of my right leg. I underwent a surgery. They removed two of my toes then that didn’t work. I had to have three more of my toes removed, that didn’t work went back in had my right leg removed below the knee so now I have no legs to walk on. I am Wheelchair, bones fighting with Insurance to get a wheelchair. Hospital bills are piling up. Credit cards are all maxed out. Our credit is starting to go down because I am losing my trailer from my business, my truck for my business all my tools I am selling just to survive and it took me a lifetime to build up all the tools that I have now I have to sell them which I am trying to do now just to survive. My wife works, but does not make enough to cover the rent , I am on disability between the two of us. We make the rent but cannot pay all the other bills. I am only out here asking for help because I want to get myself back to work. I know they’ll come day. I may walk again or maybe I won’t. I do not know this at this point , but right now I know I have to get there and we are struggling to try. We went shopping for a handicap van coming to find out unless you have a big lawsuit. There are not anything out there for us that we can even closely afford so I’m asking everyone that she’s if anyone has a handicap band and would like to donate it. We would appreciate it so much and would pay it forward or anyone out there that could afford to help us. We would greatly appreciate it. I had an old power chair I was using as you can see in a picture , but that chair broke now I am in a borrowed chair that is very nice of someone to let me use but would like to have my own but can’t afford it and I’m fighting the insurance again. I see people on GoFundMe raising crazy money to help them do different things. I am only asking for help because we really need it I know and pray they’ll come in day. I can pay it forward. I am not the kind of person that can just sit here. I need to be doing things even if it’s helping people, but I can’t even do that because I am stuck here at my home because we can’t afford to get a handicap van and this is putting so much pressure on my wife and I know she did not sign up for this when she married me but she sure is sticking it out for the long haul and I greatly appreciate my wife and would love to raise enough money to reward her like she deserves so I am asking for generous people to please help us. Can you imagine if everyone that sees this donated a dollar how much that would be in the end and how helpful that would be I know we are all in tough times right now and this is probably the worst time, this world to ask for help because things have gotten so expensive I never thought I would see the day that I would have to be the one going to the church for food. I always thought I would be the one dropping the food off to help others times I’ve gotten that hard and I want to thank everyone that reads this and please pass it on so I can hit as many people as possible and thank you even if you can’t afford it I do understand but if you can please help thank you and God bless
