Help me with the expenses of living in Egypt

My name is Shaymaa. I am currently in Gaza with my mother, sister, and young niece. My father and brothers have been estranged from my family for the past two years in Europe while they obtain residency papers and family reunification permits. My father has always sought to give us a happy life and a beautiful future. Then the war came in Gaza and they destroyed my house, but my family and I miraculously survived. I now live in my partially destroyed house with many of my other extended family members (whose homes were completely destroyed) because it is still better and safer than a tent on the streets.

These past 5 months have been full of fear, evacuation, death of most of our family and friends, destruction of houses, loss of hope, demolition of any happy memory we ever had.

Never did we think our beautiful future would become this nightmare of a reality.

We are a proud people who are surviving the most horrific of circumstances.

These children all live in my home, here they are waiting for food.

The situation in Gaza has never been worse, and we must do everything we can to get to safety. By donating to this GoFundMe fundraiser, you will be directly aiding our precious family, so we may try to find a small bit of warmth and comfort in these most difficult times.

اسمي شيماء. أنا حاليًا في غزة مع أمي وزوجة أخي وابنة أخي الصغيرة. لقد هاجر والدي وإخوتي خلال العامين الماضيين ل أوروبا لحصولهم على أوراق الإقامة وتصاريح لم شمل الأسرة لتأمين مستقبل لنا. لقد سعى والدي دائمًا إلى أن يمنحنا حياة سعيدة ومستقبلًا جميلاً.

ثم جاءت الحرب في غزة وأفسدو مكاني الآمن منزلي، ولكنني وعائلتي نجونا بأعجوبة. أعيش الآن في منزلي المدمر جزئيًا مع العديد من أفراد عائلتي الممتدة (الذين دمرت منازلهم بالكامل ونزحو من الشمال ) لأنه لا يزال أفضل وأكثر أمانًا من خيمة في الشوارع.

كانت هذه الأشهر الخمسة الماضية مليئة بالخوف، والإخلاء، وموت معظم عائلتنا وأصدقائنا، وتدمير المنازل، وفقدان الأمل، وهدم أي ذكرى سعيدة لدينا على الإطلاق.

لم نعتقد أبدًا أن مستقبلنا الجميل سيصبح كابوسًا للواقع.
