We have lost everything, literally. Our losses are countless, the most important of which is the destruction of housing, the destruction of the workplace, and everything we dream of or aim for in terms of living with dignity and a life worthy of us. Our dreams have been shattered, as have the dreams of my children. Despite the terrible loss, I hope that you will help us build hope and life again and the ambition to live. The Generous, despite the difficulty of the current stage, we hope for your help to achieve some of our dreams.

I have always been ambitious and dream of owning a huge salon for ladies. I work in the field of beauty of women. I used to love my work very much, I used to practice my life as a mother and a worker who supports the family. I started my field of work as a beauty expert after graduating from university majoring in business administration. I studied beauty and obtained international certificates and I prepared a small place to start practicing my favourite hobby Makeup Artist and it was not completed to achieve my dream only two years, the war” in 7 October” came and destroyed everything I dreamed of creating..... This is Basma Al-Ghoul, who has lost my entire workplace now. My husband and I worked hard to get a home for us and our children Toleen, Malak and Kamal. We got our first house before the war on Gaza five months. Unfortunately the tent is our home now.

Toleen is my eldest daughter, superior quiet, she is 8 years old, she is now supposed to be in the second grade of primary school and practices her identities by drawing, anthem and mastering the English language, but the war deprived her of everything Play, study, practice her favourite hobby and take care of her long blond hair, which has become unhealthy nor as before, now her task has become to help her mother by washing and transporting water and when the situation is calm she studies a bit and sings national songs, I wish Tulane to achieve her dreams.

Malak my second child, smart, 6 years old, she is supposed to be in the first grade of primary school and practice her favourite hobby gymnastics and karate, but the war deprived her of everything playing, studying and practicing karate her favourite sport, now her task has become to transport water from a remote place and help her parents, Malak rises every night terrified of the sound of shelling because of health problems in her ears does not bear the loud sounds terrifying.

Kamal, my youngest child, quiet, polite, 4 years old, he is supposed to be playing inside kindergarten “Kg1” now. And he practices his hobbies by installing Lego games and car racing and learns letters and numbers and plays with children and discovers his favorite talents, the war came and deprived him of playing and practicing his hobby, and now he helps his sisters to transport water from a distant place, and is terrified of the sounds of explosions that fall close to us. When we displaced from our house to the south Rafah Kamal walked continuously about 6 km without any fatigue, my child became the big man.

Houria, Toleen, Malak and Kamal’s aunt, she is orphan of mother and father. My husband has become responsible for her, she suffers from gallbladder disease and does not bear pain and cannot eat anything now because of gallbladder colic and is scheduled to remove the gallbladder member immediately because of the presence of stones inside, and there is no health care inside the hospitals of the sector and must travel for treatment abroad as soon as possible, knowing that she was working in the health field at Al-Awda Hospital and now she stopped working because of her illness.

In the midst of war, stories are born—some from the noise of bombs and cries of fear , others from a mother’s tears as she watches her children , not only from the dangers of weapons but from hunger and disease .
After 400 days of fierce war, fear, terror, and repeated displacement, we are living in the most difficult days of famine and the lack of any basic materials or even milk for children. We are waiting for the arrival of my baby girl, two months from now. The fear still continues until my baby girl arrives, that there will be continued famine and a lack of pampers or milk, and I am suffering. Unfortunately, due to bacterial syndrome in the kidneys and bladder, there is a fear of transmitting the infection to my daughter during birth.
