Belles âmes - My upcoming Album

Hi! I am Kelly. Welcome into my world. I met this awesome award winning producer Brian West (Nelly Furtado, Maroon5, Sia, Knaan,..) and I am blown away at what creative collaboration leads to!

I believe every music has its place and mission and I so blessed to be contributing to making life more enjoyable. A few years ago I joined the singer-songwriter and music maker community and it has been a blast, even if the music industry is a tough ground. I would not have been making new music today without the strong believers in me and my community. So I really want to partner with you to keep making music.

There are a LOT of music out there you might say but when music is combined with purpose, magic happens. Hearts are healed, courage surfaces, joy springs up and sometimes sadness and tears...and it's okay. Emotions are beautiful and a part of living life. What I am saying is: I really want you be a part of my community. Your donation will directly support the mixing stage of the project, which is a crucial as every part of an album. And as a mother childcare support allows me to attend showcases, and pay the musicians. Since showcasing are none paid opportunities but necessary to promote new music, your contribution really helps.

My purpose is :

To empower and make people feel good. If you have a dream than you and I are alike. But sometimes trends, people or failure can paralyze us. I sing to tell us that it is possible to blossom our dream and stand out in our world. Don't let the hurdles stop you.

To keep cultural heritage alive :

My dedication to my African heritage is evident in my work, as I strives to keep cultures and languages vibrant for future generations. When I saw my young kids sing my songs, my purpose as an artist became clear. Even more so when I got the chance to perform alongside artists such as Alessia Cara, Serena Ryder, and Walk Off the Earth, and to open for five-time Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo.

To honour the loving memory of my mother :

When I started writing album in 2023 my mother participated in some of the translations and she was eager to hear the final work. Later did I discover that she did not have much time left on earth. She passed away few months ago, before she could hear any of the songs... This is the most emotional work I have ever done or released. So I am doing this for her, as a tribute of how great and inspiring she is, and will always be.
