I had a stroke, spare a buck or two?
Donation protected
On January 25 in the morning I had a stroke just a few steps outside my door walking to the bus. Thankfully help came and doctors were able to do some fancy brain magic and I didn't die.
They tell me recovery will probably be a few months before back to work. A responsible adult should be able to swing that. I have never been responsible and should have savings for an emergency like this. If it only effected me I would not be doing this, but my partner Rowan will end up working twice as much AND trying to take care of me in recovery for me to live comfortably because that is who she is.
This is not easy to do, or fair to ask, but I think it would more selfish to not ask for help and see Rowan struggle. If a bunch of people can spare a few bucks maybe I can get through without too much burden on just a few people.
Thanks for reading and appreciate everyone's well wishes. Love you all.
