Help me get cataract surgery

My name is Cheryl. In 2008 I was laid off from my job due to downsizing, I did not go out and get a new job as at the time my Mom needed me to help take care of my Dad. I had some money saved at the time and figured I could always go back to work once my Dad passed away. However, by the time Dad passed away Mom was in need of being taken care of herself, so I stayed at home to keep her out of a nursing home. That's my story. My job is taking care of my 88 year old mother. It doesn't pay anything, so I am considered unemployed by both the state and federal governments. We live off her Social Security. In the state of Mississippi, I cannot get any financial assistance for anything. I've tried and always been turned down. And I cannot afford insurance on my $0 salary. I have no idea what to do now as I recently began losing my eyesight to cataracts. The eye doctor says surgery will be at least $3000. I have no one else to turn to so I am pleading with the internet to help me fund the eye surgery so I can continue to take care of my mother and not end up putting her in a nursing home. She deserves to live out her life at home. I am trying to save what little I can of my moms Social Security but after all the bills are paid there just isn't much left. Please help me so I can continue to take care of my mom. Thank you.
