I need help to pay for food, bills and insurance

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Jon Wohl, and this is the first and only time in my life that I've ever asked anybody for help, and it's against my nature but I'm in trouble with no place else to go. I'm retired and collecting Social Security, but the amount I receive only covers rent, telephone, electric, and gas bills. I've fallen behind on my rent, utilities, and insurance because I've had to spend money on food essentials, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, dish cleaning soap, laundry supplies, car insurance for my 22 yr old car (which I need to run errands), and telephone service. I was a salesman but the company closed. I have no other viable skills and the jobs available to me are limited to either physical labor which at 69 yrs old I am physically unable to perform. I can't stand for more than a few minutes at a time and have COPD so exertion is out of the question. I used to be a pro wrestling performer but at my age I don't get booked anymore.
I have virtually no savings anymore and no resources other than Social Security. The money I'm asking for will catch me up on the money for which I'm in arrears, keep me up to date, and allow me to eat. I hate to have to ask, it feels like begging, but I have nowhere else to go. I have been experiencing real anxiety over this, and it's affecting my health, both physical and mental. If you could please help me it will also give me time to investigate other resources which will take time to process IF I find a program to assist me further. I've always helped family friends and associates in need and never asked or expected repayment. I just believed it was the right thing to do, even if it put me temporarily behind in my own obligations.
- It humbles me greatly to be in this position, but as I said, I have nowhere else to go. Thanks for reading my story, and thanks very much for helping!
