Hello, my name is Judy Isabel Parra, known in some circles as Juju. Last year I underwent lower spinal surgery and though I was feeling much relief after a few months, back in April-May of this year, things began to change. I had unbelievable pain in my legs and buttocks. I returned to the spinal surgeon and had an MRI revealing that my surgery hardware had failed, my lower disc had slipped and is bulging in such a way that my nerves are pinched. At this point I cannot even walk but a few steps at a time. The pain is excruciating and I am heavily medicated to endure it until my next surgery on July 28th. Last year, I took leave without pay for three months. Since the start of this month, I have had to remain out of work, and probably won't return until October. I'm still paying off last year's surgery, and fear having to max out my card to fund this next operation.
