I never thought I would lose a good paying job to a bully

Hi folks, my name is Mark Maloney. I am (until now) a private man of 47 years who is usually too busy helping people to spend time with my family (really ask my wife). Let me tell you a little about me. My next door neighbor started using the city 311 line to complain like every 15 days for the last 7.5 years. NO JOKE!!! His beef you ask? The dog poop on my yard as we have two large breed dogs to his one, and other yard maintenance. Did I mention he is retired and my wife works two jobs as do I just to get by?

I broke an ankle in this time as well and had complications healing. Never once did he say anything along the lines of "can I enter your yard and clean it and I will send you an invoice because I have the time and nothing to do". No he lets it go. No problem, I can play hard ball. I waited for the "love letter" from the city as I call them and clean up 2 or 3 days before the scheduled inspection (petty I know). Well in the fall of 2024 in the midst of a postal strike he won. HUH. My dog knocked over a garbage can, just in time for the follow up visit from the city. I am to receive a $250.00 fine but the postal workers were on strike. Fast forward to now (March/April2025) and I have a police officer's card on my door when I get home from work. I call it and he says he needs to give me the ticket.

I decided one Sunday (March 23, 2025) I've had enough and knock on his door. He tells me he is done reasoning with me but he respects me so there's no bother fighting as he would never hit me or any other "whiney woman". So I went into my house and got an idea.

I was sure he is a bigot so I asked my wife to lend me some of her clothes (and make up and heels, stockings, etc.) Knocked again at 11PM. Long story short, he decided a fight was better than a talk. He is twice my size (really watch the video) my wife intervenes and the police arrive.

We get to cool off before I am carted off on a mental health hold. They search my house and take my guns and ammo without a warrant. I am told there is no recourse for me as the police mistook my wife saying nothing as she is afraid of me and they read me my rights and I spent the next 4 days in a hospital. I lost my job while I was held against my will. I am out now and want to build a business supporting mental health and addictions awareness. Thank you for listening.
