I Ride 4 the Frederiksens (medical bills)

Hi, my cousins, Brandy and Mark, have been troopers through five difficult years. In 2018, Mark was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer when found in adults. They were determined and faithful in their journey. Brandy even made a Facebook page called Blessings in the Storm to document their experience. Mark underwent a series of intense treatments until he was stable for a time, allowing him more time with their three children, Lars, Anders, and Dagny.

Devastatingly, Mark's cancer returned and quickly spread to his lungs in 2022. He has been undergoing treatment to give him as much time with his wife and children. Brandy and Mark both planned ahead, but he runs his own remodeling business and Brandy teaches birth classes for pregnant moms. With Mark needing to take time off for treatments and now due to declining health, they could use a blessing bestowed by all of us to help them with medical bills.

Some of our family members are on the 500-mile bike ride across Iowa this month (RAGBRAI), including some of Brandy's closest friends. RAGBRAI has a fundraising component this year. We have decided to fundraise for the Frederiksens. If you would like to help us with this goal and bestow a blessing on the Frederiksens to help them through the next 4-6 months, please give whatever you are able.

They are amazing people who have never asked anyone for anything and do so much for others. This is our way of giving back to them.
