I run a Marathon to help Jara refugees in Ethiopia
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Asnake Bekele. I am from Ethiopië but live in The Netherlands. My biggest hobby is running and my great dream for a long time is to run a marathon. My Hero is Abebe Bekila who was the first African olympic maraton winner in Rome in 1960. Now my dream Will come true. Next March I Will run my first marathon in Rome.
Also I want to support Ethiopian refugees in Jara by raising funds for the work of the North Wollo diocese office in Ethiopia.
Thousands of people have been forced to leave their home because of internal conflicts. The last three years they live in difficult cirumstances in the Jara refugees shelter. They do not have enough food, clothes etc.
The North Wollo diocese office tries to help but they depend on our support.
For the coming three months I will donate € 1,00 per km during my training sessions and on the day itself € 42,195
Please support me to reach my goal to collect € 3000 to support the Jara refugees in Ethiopia. Every donation in every valuta, great or small, is welcome.
The raised money will sent to the North Wollo diocese office in Ethiopia. They will buy foods clothes and sanitary things for the refugees.
Thank you in advance for your support. Raising money this way will change peoples lives and mean the world to me and others.
