I started a fundraiser for my high school tuition

Hi, My name is Nicholas. I am currently heading into my Junior year of high school with a 3.85 GPA, and ranked 43rd out of 313 in my class. I have been blessed enough to receive a 50% scholarship to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as a Running Back. More players from

this school make it to the NFL than any other in the country. As a second generation immigrant, and youngest son of a single mother, nothing would make me more proud than to be the first in my family to take my academic and athletic careers to college and beyond!

Unfortunately, although myself and my mother work very hard, we are unable to cover the remaining 50% of tuition not covered by the scholarship. I won’t lie, however, it feels incredibly strange to ask for donations. My mother has always taught me to be responsible, respectful, pick myself up from the bootstraps, disregard distractions, and carve out my own destiny through hard work and dedication.

It is at this moment I come to you at my humblest. All sharing of this fundraiser, and any donation amount will be deafeningly appreciated. I commit myself to full transparency, and all contributions beyond the necessary will be placed into a savings account to be applied towards the next academic year.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all who have listened to my plead. I hope to make you all proud! I strive to be the best son a mother could ask for, and renew my family’s belief in the American Dream! Thank you!
