There’s never the perfect time to say goodbye. If you are one of the hundreds of great people in this Facebook group that has followed Felix and his story over the past couple years our hearts are all heavy today and will be for sometime. Felix battled Terminal Ampulary cancer for so much longer than anyone expected him to, every day he did his rise and glide cancer shine. Felix leaves behind his wife Shelly and his children. I talked to Felix about this and told him we wanted to do something after he passed. We can’t take away the hurt they will feel for years to come, but we can help in a small way by giving what we can to lighten the load on Shelly who has fought side by side with Felix throughout this journey. For many of us Felix was an inspiration. He taught us how to fight back when life had you cornered, he taught us to smile through the pain, and he showed us all how to roar. Rest peacefully, happy and healthy, Felix The Lionheart. We love you amigo.
