I Support the Freddy Fixer

We're raising money to benefit the Elm City Freddy Fixer Parade Committee, Inc., and any donation will help secure the parade's future. For more financing information, please join our community meetings on the last Wednesday of every month, beginning Sept. 2022, at 6 p.m. at Stetson Branch Library (197 Dixwell Ave., New Haven).
More information about Elm City Freddy Fixer Parade Committee, Inc.: Originating in 1962, the Freddy Fixer Parade is nationally recognized as one of the oldest Black American parades in the northeast. Vision: collective solidarity toward the common goal of neighborhood beautification that culminates into an annual celebration known as the Elm City Freddy Fixer Parade. Securing our legacy through this consistent, constructive and harmonious showcase of our cultural expression through visual and performing arts will be the impetus that conveys the story of our history that we want to be told for many generations to come.
