Help Ulises to beat cavernoma( brain condition)!

“Coach, remember…I am going to be a World Champion one day” that is what Ulises says every time he walks into the gym to train MMA or when he messages me.

On Dec 19, 2023 Ulises was at work in Flagstaff, AZ and collapsed and had a seizure for the first time. He decided to go back to Mexico to be with his family and had his second seizure during the holidays that led him to see a doctor. The doctors suggested that he has Cerebral Cavernous Malformation (CCM) which is a cluster of veins in the brain that is inflamed and looks like raspberries. They can leak blood into the brain causing him life-threatening seizures and other symptoms. On Monday, Jan 22nd, Ulises came to the gym to speak to me in person out of respect to let me know he won't be able to train for a while due to his situation but he STILL wants to be a World Champion one day. That night I explained to my wife Kristina while we were having dinner that Ulises came to the gym to let me know he is having seizures and that he came back to Arizona to get a second opinion on the condition and to learn more about it. My wife said, “call Ulises and invite him and his family to come over for dinner, I want to talk to him.” Ulises and his family came to my house that evening and explained that he has had 3 life-threatening seizures within the last 32 days. As he was speaking over dinner, he started to feel sick and had a seizure. We called 911 and the ambulance took him to the nearest hospital. After getting a CT scan & MRI they discovered he was having a brain bleed and ended up transporting him to another hospital in the valley to have brain surgery. I told Ulises before he went into surgery…”Your dream of being a World Champion in MMA has now changed to being a World Champion in LIFE. So, I need you to FIGHT!”
