I want to raise money for parents who have lost a child.

Hi, my name is Janette Lourie. I run a Facebook group called how to survive after the loss of a child. I started this group in honour of my son who was murdered a few years ago to help other parents cope in their grieving and to offer hope that they will see their child again one day.

I have 15,000 grieving parents in my group and in which many are unable to work, lost their jobs, lost their homes and lost all their savings to burry their child. My goal is to at least raise 1000 dollars to send via pay pal or Money Graham to those who are in dire need.

There is a Grandmother looking after her grandson due to her young daughter’s death. This grieving mother is on Disability and is struggling to make ends meet because she is also not well. The stories are sad but real sadly!

I am asking if you can donate the cost of your latte at Starbucks or a large Tim’s coffee! If 15,000 people donate 1 dollar I can do this for many families.

I know times are hard for many but if you can do a donation that can help please know that means a lot to me because my son was also murdered and he was a kind young man who gave his last and helped the homeless on the streets of Toronto as well! I am only trying to live his legacy.
