I was a victim of a scam, and now my dreams are crushed

Dear friends, family and compassionate strangers,

My name is Ashlie, I am 27 years old And have a lovely fiancé named Dylan

I work as a disability and Aged Care support worker in Victoria. Unfortunately this year hasn't been very kind to Myself and my partner, after a couple of family members passing away including a 2 family pets and ofcoarse recently become victim of a big scam.

I was involved in an online investment scam where they stated I could make an online income which isn't necessarily an unusual way of making money these days I had hopes of trying to earn more money to go towards a bigger car, surgery and our wedding and landscaping for our house which in the end unfortunately I was taken advantage of, I ended up losing $35,000 which has absolutely torn my heart and now we're both suffering for it, my goals this year after I had completed my certificate 4 disability and age care was to get a bigger car so l can become an individual support worker and be able to support as many people as possible and be able to fit wheelchairs and accessories in my car as I currently have a small car so l'm limited to those who I can help, I feel as a support worker, I am always giving back to the Community and the people whether it's a homeless person or a stranger on the street who looks like they need help I'm never usually one to ask for help but this has really affected myself and my partner and my mental health after having so many dreams to help others, I have come to the decision to see if the community could help me I'm always one to work hard and help as many people as I possibly can, thank you in advance for any contributions

In addition to this I'm very aware that so many other people have been affected by scams and I know l'm not the only one, I really want to start raising more awareness around how people can be easily tricked into these scams and how many different kinds of scams there are! Please check in on your loved ones and friends and make sure they are not going to be the next victim!
