Please help….I’m trying to avoid being Homeless
Donation protected
Hello Everyone! It’s A.J. I have started this GoFundMe page to avoid being homeless. Currently, I have a roof over both my and Harley’s (my dog) heads. However, it is both a short-term and unsustainable situation. This is why I am asking for everyone’s help.
Part of the reason I am in this situation is I am legally disabled. I have several chronic medical conditions. This includes surviving two heart attacks, one of which is commonly referred to as “the widowmaker” in addition to, a few years later, battling cancer.
Along with disability I do get some assistance from social services. However, even with this added assistance, once I factor in medical costs, utilities, etc., I end every month in the negative. I walk miles each way to get to a pharmacist or food store as I cannot afford a car. I am embarrassed by the fact I have been homeless. I have stayed in shelters, friends houses, on the streets, and now I am currently struggling to keep a roof over my head and Harley’s head. Some months it’s a choice between food or medication or housing. This is no way to live.
I now find myself in serious need. Please help me obtain a more permanent and stable living situation for myself and Harley. I want to thank everyone who reads this for taking the time to do so. And a double thank you if you decide to assist me and share this post with others.
