Iain Hart

Many of you will have heard by now the awful news of the passing of Iain Hart.

For those of you that don’t know Iain, there is a good chance you will know his wife Maja, who also works for Jacobs.

At such a young age (Iain was only 38), and with children so young (their lovely daughters Aria, aged 5, and Talia, aged 1 and a half), Iain’s passing could not be more devastating.

Our aim is to raise money for the girls and Maja to provide some short-term support and look to also do something more long-term that will help generate positive memories for them.

Let’s try to take a tiny bit of the pain of not having their beloved Dad here for Christmas and give generously now.

From Iain’s diagnosis to his passing was only 11 weeks. This is no time at all. There wasn’t any time for Maja to even come to terms with Iain’s illness let alone to try and understand his passing.

Their daughters don’t really understand what has happened, and it will take many years for them to come to terms with this. They already miss their Dad, and didn’t understand why he couldn’t play with them like ‘normal’ during his illness.

Anything we can do to help the kids and Maja will be appreciated.
