Who this will help
  • Hi, I’m Sue, Ian’s Aunt and I am raising funds to help Ian’s mom and dad (Jane and Ed) bring their boy home and bury him. He sadly passed away unexpectedly in Grande Prairie where he was working and his parents and family are all in Nova Scotia.

Why I'm fundraising
Ian passed away at the young age of 36 while working in Grande Prairie. He was due to fly home to spend Christmas with his family two days after passing away. His parents want to bring him home and bury him in Nova Scotia. I am hoping to raise enough money so Jane and Ed can bring their son home. Ian was a gentle giant. He loved giving hugs and his hugs were the best. He was always goofing around and making people laugh. His Dad was his favourite guy for sure! He also loved hanging out having fun with his two nieces. Most important in his life was his mom! He will be in all of our hearts forever! Please share and help us bring him home.

The impact of your support
All the funds raised will be used for Jane and Ed to fly to Grande Prairie, arrange to bring Ian home and have a celebration of life before burying him. Having Ian brought home will help the healing process of losing their son so early. It is a heartbreaking time for them and all your donations will help bring Ian home.
