Friends,
Our good friend Ian Fox woke up this morning and noticed his Van was gone. He actually heard the sound of the Engine when it started but the Van was gone by the time he inspected the situation. The real hardship is all his tools were in the Van. Ian is a Carpenter by trade so a Carpenter without tools is at a huge disadvantage.
My wife Margaret and I spent some time up in Truckee with Ian and his lovely wife Elyse and their two (2) young children. I was reminded of the time my children were toddlers.
This despicable and cowardly act of thievery has left Ian and his family in a tough situation. Over 12 years of Carpentry experience, Ian figures he has accumulated $15,000 worth of tools that were in the stolen Van.
His Golf Clubs were in the Van too; however, the Insurance will cover that cost as those are considered personal whereas the Tools are considered Business and not covered under the existing policy.
I know how tough it is for a young family these days and this unexpected cost doesn't make it easy. Please feel free to contribute to this fund as you see fit. There is no way we can raise enough funds to cover his loss, but I am hoping whatever we can do will provide some help.
God Bless!!!
