Ian's Battle with Leukemia: A Family's Plea
Donation protected
Ian, father of three beautiful children was diagnosed with a type of pre-leukemia in August 2024, with the only long-term solution being bone marrow transplant. This is not a diagnosis that anyone can plan for. We as a family have been managing through new diagnoses, chemo treatments, ailments, and the stresses of everyday life. The past month has been the hardest for us emotionally, physically, and financially. Spiritually, Ian has been wonderful at keeping our head high and faith strong.
At this time we as a family are looking for more strength from all of our family, friends and any kind hearts.
Ian has had regular blood transfusions, treatments, and various blood and bone scans. Unfortunately, after obtaining a virus that developed from a simple common cold, Ian had several emergency room visits and has been under hospital care ever since. He has been currently in the hospital for a few weeks, and the stay is to continue for a while longer. The virus has taken a toll on Ian's body and his original condition is thought to have escalated to acute leukemia, leading to stronger chemo treatments, hospital care, and future home care.
Your donations will allow us to pay medical bills and other bills we've gotten late on. This will bring us to our next, bone marrow transplant. We have three little ones who are not so little anymore. We look forward to Ian coming home healthy as soon as possible. We are all staying strong and are thankful to all of you who are close and far. We would appreciate all loving prayers and any donations.
