Ian's ACL Injury Expenses

Our friend and neighbor, Ian Taylor, needs our support!

Last weekend, Ian took a spill and sustained a painful injury. After days of chasing down appointments and trying to receive the proper tests, an MRI revealed both a torn meniscus and ACL in his right knee. An ACL tear is particularly serious, and doctors expect that Ian will be unable to fully heal or return to work for an estimated 6 months.

This is a devastating blow, at the beginning of an important busy season for both Ian’s career in the service industry and his personal catering business. In addition to the mental strain of an injury that will keep an avid outdoorsman shackled inside, this injury means that Ian will miss out on vital income as he takes the necessary time to recover.

It goes without saying that Ian is the type of person who holds community close in his heart. He’s the first one at your door with an encouraging word (and an INSANE plate of food) whenever life’s got you down, and many of us have benefitted from his unending generosity when we needed it the most. Ian is more than a friend to the people he loves, he is family. And now, we can help lift him up.

We are aiming to cover Ian’s basic living expenses over the estimated 6 months that he will be unable to be at work; there is no donation too small, and no prayer for recovery that is wasted.
