Team Kersey - Knocking Out Cancer

Donation protected
Cancer has reared it's ugly head in the Kersey household one more time, forcing Rhonda and James to fight for their lives AGAIN!
This time it's James!  Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th, and we need your help!  He doesn't have insurance - doctors have not given him the one-on-one attention he deserves, so we are committed to raising enough money to give him the best medical treatment available!  We desperately need your help!!!
In early August, he went into the hospital, thinking he had a bad case of the flu.  Doctors found 3 "masses" - in his right kidney, in the adrenal gland on his left kidney, and in his stomach.  They immediately told him the first mass looked like cancer and would most likely result in removing the kidney with the mass!
Now, four months later, we do have a surgery scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th, to do just that!  The scary part is that, because James has no insurance, he has not received ongoing testing or consultations to keep him abreast of what kind of cancer he has, what treatments he'll have, or what to expect in his recovery! The only time his doctor has spoken with him face to face was when he first diagnosed his cancer in August!
We, his friends and family, want to ensure he receives the absolute best medical attention possible - to ensure a positive outcome from surgery and a speedy recovery!!!
Our Go Fund Me has been established to pay for as much of his medical treatment as possible! He has already accrued over $30,000 in medical bills from his trip to the hospital in August!
Many of you are aware that James was the primary breadwinner and caretaker for his family, throughout Rhonda's arduous road of medical crises for the entire 37 years they have been together.  From her diabetes to breast cancer (double mastectomy with no reconstructive surgery because the radiation burned her skin too badly) to numerous strokes (which almost killed her and kept her in the hospital more than she was out) to congestive heart failure (with pace maker and defibrillator to keep her alive), James has been her "rock"!  Between hospital visits, doctor appointments, and home care, more than half of their life together has been focused on Rhonda's survival!  Murphy's Law even hit them again when James was first diagnosed - Rhonda fell in a major department store and broke her hip!  So far, that store has not helped with her medical expenses either!
This precious couple could teach us all a lesson in love, devotion, courage, and perseverance!  Life keeps knocking them down but love keeps picking them up!
People in a crisis often feel isolated and alone.  Asking "what can I do?" just isn't enough.Making a donation, doing something tangible, is what really matters.  Your donation, no matter how large or small, will matter to them - it will be a "love gift" to show them you care! Every single dollar matters!!!
The Kerseys have a very tough road ahead of them! Let them hear from you!  Your prayers, your support, your words of encouragement will give them strength!
Please give from your heart.  We want to prove we are here for them, they are not alone or forgotten, and they are LOVED!
James may have cancer, but cancer cannot have him!!!

Thank you for your love and support!  God Bless You!!
