Robin Hensels fight for FREE SPEECH

Spende geschützt
On June 7, 2013 I was escorted out of a city council meeting by the Chief of Police and the Captain of the Little Falls Police Department, for sitting in a chair, demanding equal rights, and exercising my free speech.

I need $1,000.00 to pay for the transcript of my trial December 1-2, 2014, in order to proceed with my appeal to the Minnesota Court of Appeals.  I am disabled and live on a small, fixed income.

Any amount you give will be immensely appreciated.  Thank you in advance for your generosity.  Even a dollar or two will help, especially if there a number of supporters.

My attorney Kevin Riach will appeal because my actions were within my First Amendment rights, and do not qualify as disorderly conduct.  The video below in of my illegal arrest on June 7, 2013.

On June 3, 2013 I placed two large signs 40" tall and approximately 2 1/2 feet wide,  in the city council chambers, then changed into a colorful outfit and came back into the chamber wearing a  hat with signs on that said "Free Speech Restricted Here" and "Costly Mistakes Made in this Chamber on a Regular Basis." The backside of my signs had pictures of the children that are on the big banner in the  film below.  Children that are either drone victims or birth defected children (some living and some dead) from white phosphorus and depleted uranium from our United State bombing of Fallujah, Iraq.    The audiences loud, juvenile reaction to my colorful attire and hat, and their unwillingness to contain themselves, was the impetus for the Mayors abrupt adjournment of that meeting.  The mayors husband and his mom, sat directly behind me and claimed that they couldn't see the meeting.  They and 5 other members in the audience were then invited to sit forward of us around the work session tables.   The chamber seats  60-65 people.

I made a decision that night, that at the very next meeting I would move my chair forward and sit quietly in the same area they had sat in.   Since they were allowed, why not me?   Right?

The following videos show what happened on June 3, 2013.  Thank heavens I was filming.  I film all the meetings.

The fight for free speech is an important one.

The two videos below are in front of my house.
I have included them so you can see what causes are dear to my heart and heavy on my conscience.  I am compelled to speak out about injustice, eternal war, and human rights violations, as well as local city conflicts of interest and misuse of public funds.

The following articles and videos tell my story that began in fall of 2011.  The city forced me to remove my many yard signs in November 2011, because they were in violation of the sign ordinance. Little did I know at the time, that the city itself was in violation of that same ordinance.  I discovered on Janurary 17, 2012, that the city had illegally erected, paid for and maintained (for more than a decade),   a "We Support Our Troops" banner in downtown Little Falls, Mn. I began attending city council and committee meetings in February 2012 and have attended almost every city meeting for the last 3 years.

I filed a federal lawsuit in May of 2012 claiming the city had violated  my free speech.  The city had an unconstitutional sign and advertising bench ordinance.

The city has attempted to restrict the flow of public information in every way possible, including removing the citizen appeal comment time to a non televised work session that is held before the regular council meetings.

For more information besides what is listed below, please see my blog: RobinHensel.blogspot.com     and  MCBlowback.com    There you will find videos and factual stories on many events from the last 3 years in this "CONSTITUTION FREE ZONE" called Little Falls, Minnesota.

This is my bench at Little Falls City Hall.   This was part of my lawsuit settlement.  As long as I pay the bench rental fee each year, I get the right to have this bench in this spot every year.
