IBEW-SDG&E Sister Anna-Lisa Wallgren Gone Too Soon

On Saturday July 4th, this world lost an angel when our sister Anna-Lisa Wallgren, a 43 year old IBEW 465 Union Dispatcher at SDG&E, passed away tragically after suffering a heart attack. Our sister was just at work only days before where she shared their plans for the 4th of July weekend with her friends and coworkers. We are all devastated by this tragic loss and hope to be able to raise critical funds for her family to help with this unforeseen loss. Anna-Lisa leaves behind her best friend and husband of 14 years Alex Wallgren, a retired United States Army Sergeant and two step-children Gavin (19) and Isabella(23).  Brother Alex is also a Union Man, a proud member of AFGE (American Federation of Government Employees) Local Union 1201, who worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Contract Administrator.  

Alex, who suffered a combat brain  injury while serving in Iraq in 2003,  is struggling to put the pieces together after losing his wife and best friend.  We are asking all of our IBEW and SDGE friends to help spread the word and donate if you can as we hope to be able to provide him and the family with some much needed assistance during this difficult time. 

As of now the family has not made arrangements for a funeral or celebration of life due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to respect the privacy of the family and only post updates with approval from her husband Alex.
