Dear Ibiza Guests,
Thank you. The outpouring of support you have shown us over the past weeks has been incredible. Your optimism and encouragement have kept us going through the anxiety and uncertainty. Like most restaurants, as part of closing our doors in CT we have been forced to lay off most of our team, nearly 12 employees. Despite this, we have limited resources, and many of you have asked how you can help.
While unemployment benefits will help many employees, they will not be enough to fully cover the needs of our team and their families. To ensure support is provided to those most in need, we are establishing The Ibiza Tapas Relief Fund.
- 100% of proceeds from now until April 6th will go toward the fund.
Thank you for your continued support. We are committed to staying strong so we can reopen when the crisis passes and once again provide employment to people in Connecticut and New York.
Also, Ignacio and I decided that starting this Sunday, free meals will be available to anyone in need. The nutritious meals will be available for pick-up at the restaurant on Sunday, March 22 at 4 p.m.
The hot dinner will consist of chicken, rice, vegetables and bread and will vary from week to week. As of now, the meals will be available every Sunday.
Thank you,
