My name is Joseph Gauthier and I will be beginning my first year of seminary with the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. The ICKSP is a Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical Right with the aim to spread the reign of our Lord Jesus Christ in all spheres of human life.

This young and growing society resides within the Roman Catholic Church and is devoted to administering the Church's sacraments faithfully and solemnly according to her perennial tradition all for the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls. For the past several months, I have already been living with the Canons of the Institute through their candidacy program. While there I have primarily been learning French and Latin while completing housework around the priory and participating in the Liturgy of the Church daily. After months of this good work and prayerful support from benefactors, I was able to pass their French test and have been invited to apply to their St. Philip Neri Seminary in Gricigilano, Italy.

As a seminarian, I will be leading a life that closely follows St. Benedict's Ora et Labora, meaning my daily activities will mostly be comprised of prayer through the official liturgy of the Church and labor that is comprised of completing tasks to be done around the seminary and rigorously studying topics such as theology, Latin, philosophy, Gregorian chant, Church history, and more. I hope that with the combined prayerful and financial aid of benefactors, I can one day join the ranks of these Canons of the Church in their mission of spreading her traditions throughout the world.

But for right now, I will be entering my first year of seminary and require assistance with all the financing that necessarily comes with it. The $15,000 figure will help to pay for

1 year's worth of tuition at St. Philip Neri Seminary
Traveling and calling between seminary and home
Paying for books, clothes, and other things I may need this year and for years to come
Italian and American Insurance

A NOTE ON PAYMENT

However, there is a little bit more to this process. Please follow the steps below if you would like to take this latter option so your donation will go through to the Institute, and will be applied to my formation costs.

2. While making your donation, it is important that my name is not mentioned, otherwise, the Institute cannot accept your donation (even if I’m mentioned in a simple memo).
