Bismilah,

BUILD YOUR HOUSE IN JANNAH!
ICSA is pleased to announce that we have put the deposit for our mosque and islamic centre in Smithfield.

PROPERTY INFO:
Islamic Centre Sheikh Albani (ICSA) has purchased a property in Smithfield NSW (Australia) to serve as a Mosque and an Islamic Centre catering for the Muslim populace in Western and greater Sydney. The Mosque and Islamic Centre will accommodate varying facilities including:
– a prayer area for more than 400 worshipers
– library and information outlet
– a meeting place
– dedicated rooms for Qur'anic and Islamic Studies
– a large auditorium.

The property consists of 1010 m2 across 2 levels that will accomodate for both men and women with separate entries.
The purchase price is $1.2million AUD. So far we have collected within our small community $650,000. We need another $600,000 until 15 September 2019 for final settlement.

AIM AND OBJECTIVE
ICSA aims to provide education, counseling, and support for community members by promoting the true understanding of Islam  through principles based in the Qur'an and the Tradition (Sunnah) of the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam), through weekly classes and lectures, and recreational activities.

REASON
A group of dedicated and sincere brothers gave birth to ICSA intending to reach out to the youth and the wider Islamic community. Sharing the same Albanian background, they were very concerned how the Muslim youth from the Albanian Community living in Sydney were indifferent of their Islam. Being a very small community in Sydney, this leads to a complete assimilation into a non-islamic lifestyle with little or no Islam in their life. This still is a reality which needs immediate attention. We hope that with this project in shaa Allah, we will be able to educate and bring back Islam in the lifes of these families.

ICSA – THE ORGANISATION
The Islamic Centre Sheikh Albani (ICSA) is a nonprofit organisation, which commenced its humble beginnings in 2012.

Since it’s inception, ICSA has organised events and Islamic activities which, Alhamdulillah, have been very well-received particularly by the Albanian Muslim community. This has compelled the organisation to purchase a property to fulfill the demands of the community.

Having our own Mosque and an Islamic Centre established will give ICSA the exposure it requires to increase the community’s awareness of the centre’s existence and vast services we plan to offer.

ICSA Committee has built a program that we intend to implement in phases as the facilities become available to us. This program is designed specifically for the Muslim Community living in Sydney and pays great attention to Muslim Youth.

The Messenger of Allah sallAllahu alayhi wasallam said:  "The most beloved of places to Allah is the Masjid, and the most detested of places to Allah is the marketplace." [Sahih Muslim]

ICSA FRIDAY PRAYERS
The Friday Prayers have been organised for the past 2 years in a hired council hall and have attracted more than 400 people. This is the key event of the week where we expect large numbers from the community to attend the mosque. The Friday Khutba is delivered by many different khatibs on a range of issues to aid in uplifting community morale and to serve as a guiding light in the path of Islam.

ICSA FRIDAY NIGHT LECTURES
ICSA plans to organise Friday Night lectures which is expected to attract people from various social and cultural backgrounds. These programs are quite popular amongst young Sydney Muslims and have also seen the attendance of non-Muslims seeking the truth and the path of ultimate spiritual guidance. In a comfortable atmosphere, and in the company of many well-known local and international speakers, we plan to cover topics from a range of issues in Islam:
- The Importance of Prayer
- The Evils of the Tongue
- The Hereafter – Paradise & Hell-fire
- Marriage in Islam
- Preparing for Ramadan among many others.

ICSA MEN’S & WOMEN’S QUR'AN CLASSES
ICSA plans to provide Qur'an classes for both brothers and sisters of different ages at different levels. With a focus on attaining correct pronunciation of the Qur'an through precise articulation, students can progress from the beginner to intermediate level. Here, the focus is on developing an understanding of the science of tajweed in order to further achieve our aim of authentic recitation of the Qur'an.

ICSA MEN’S & WOMEN’S ISLAMIC CLASSES
With an aim to nurture a true understanding and practice of Islam at the personal and communal level, we plan to provide a range of subjects across the Islamic Sciences including:
– Fiqh - Islamic Jurisprudence
– Aqeedah - Islamic Creed
– Seerah - The Life of the Prophet Muhammad sallAllahu alayhi wasallam

Students will regularly be assessed throughout the course to ensure that they have attained the required knowledge for proficiency in a subject area.

ICSA CHILDREN’S QUR'AN SCHOOL
Prophet Muhammad sallAllahu alayhi wasallam said: “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it”.  — (Sahih Bukhari)

ICSA plans to operate the Qur'an School through a custom designed syllabus adapted to cater for students from a range of backgrounds. Students are expected to progress through the program over five years, enabling them to make the transition from little or no knowledge of Arabic, to an eventual recitation of the Qur'an with articulation and confidence, having acquired and applied the rules of tajweed correctly.

ICSA CHILDREN’S ISLAMIC CLASSES
ICSA has developed a program for the Children’s Islamic classes covering different areas of Islamic Sciences including:
– Fiqh - Islamic Jurisprudence
– Aqeedah - Islamic Creed
– Seerah - The Life of the Prophet Muhammad sallAllahu alayhi wasallam
– Akhlaaq – manners

This program is expected to run on three year period which would provide grounds for cultivation of essential Islamic teachings within our children to foster in them an appreciation for and a clear understanding of their identity as Muslims. This is essential in providing direction for our youth, living in a society where their social practices and teachings may at times be seen as foreign, to enable them to live an esteemed existence, guided by the light of Islam.

ICSA TARAWEEH PRAYERS
ICSA currently organises Taraweeh prayers at a hired local Council Hall with capacity of more than 500 people. For past 6 years we have had the honour of having Imams from Kosova and Macedonia to provide lectures every night in Arabic, English and Albanian as well as lead the Ishaa’ and Taraweeh prayers. We also regularly have other guest speakers from the community that deliver great reminders in-between Taraweeh prayers. The Taraweeh prayers have so far attracted a large number of attendants, especially Muslims from the Albanian Community who have praised it as a great success. This program has raised and promoted ICSA’s profile in the Community. Facilities are provided for both brothers and sisters.

THE NEED FOR A NEW PROSPECT
The current climate in the broader Australian community has greatly marginalised the Muslim community, largely resulting from international events. Building the our Mosque and Islamic Centre would help the Muslim community have a strong voice and a refuge from the sometimes unfriendly atmosphere faced by our community. Furthermore, the centre will be an important point of reference for the non-Muslim community, raising awareness of the peaceful nature of Islam and clear the many flawed notions held by the often misinformed community. Thus, the centre would act as an important bridge between the Muslim and Non Muslim communities, and allow a wonderful and much needed opportunity for preaching Islam.

It is also ICSA’s strong belief that “today’s youth are tomorrow’s future”. Thus taking part in the nurturing process of our children and families is essential and demanded by Islam. The centre would enable many of the youths on the streets to return to Islam and contribute to its propagation and true understanding.

CONCLUSION
In shaa Allah the donation you give will allow rewards to reach you even after departing this life.

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) said: “When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who will pray for him.” — (Narrated by Muslim)

Ongoing charity means:
– that which continues to earn reward after a person has died,
– many of the scholars defined it as the waqf (endowment), such as building a mosque, because the reward will continue to be earned so long as the waqf remains.

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) also said: “If a man were to give one dirham in charity when he is alive and in good health, that is better for him than giving one hundred when he is dying”. — (classed as saheeh by Ibn Hibbaan)

And the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Whoever builds a mosque, Allah will build for him something like it in Paradise.” — (Bukhari)

And in a similar hadith, he (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise”. — (Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani)

In shaa Allah, your charity will also be a witness and a shade for you on the day where there is no shade except for the shade of Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) said: “The shade of the believer on the Day of Judgment will be his charity”.  — (Ahmad)

Please take some action and assist in making a difference to the community with a great contribution! For someone who truly is conscious of reality, this opportunity is nothing but an opportunity whose goodness will be seen in this life and the next.

Please donate what you can and if you are unable to donate, you can still participate in this blessed opportunity of gaining reward in this world and thereafter by spreading the word within your network. Perhaps one will donate because of your message.

May Allah reward you!
