ICSK Annual Fundraiser
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
We live in a community that cares, and thanks to caring people such as you, we’re helping to feed those in need.
In 2016, the Isabella Community Soup Kitchen was able to provide over 35,000 meals to men, women & children, because people across our community stepped up to help. Through various, small fundraisers over the course of the last 10 months, in additions to our Annual Fund campaign, we have been able to ensure that people in our community don’t go hungry. Throughout this generous community, caring people – young and old, even those who sometimes struggle themselves – choose to help by giving whatever they can.
If they can help, we hope that you can to.
One in seven people in our community suffers from food insecurity. A growing number of those we serve are children. Others include the elderly, veterans, and those who have jobs but still have difficulty making ends meet. More & more Americans – the working poor, the elderly & disabled, are falling into poverty.
Every donation to the Soup Kitchen helps more than you know. We can stretch your donation far beyond what you could buy as a consumer. Just $50 provides breakfast & lunch for an individual for 2 weeks, and $200 provides breakfast and lunch to a mother & child for a month! Also, every dollar that you give stays right here in our community.
Because community members like you have always cared, we’ve never had to turn away even one person due to lack of resources. Everyone who comes to the Soup Kitchen (ICSK) for food is welcomed, without regard to race, sex, religion, age, color, disability or income.
We have and will always remain deeply grateful for the caring and support of so many people. We invite you to join the network of neighbors who assist us in this critically needed mission.
Sincerely,
Dave Weisenburger
