ICU Chad

Hi, my name is Delmis Gilbert, I am Chad's wife. On October 31st, around 4am, Chad unfortunately had a seizure at home and was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Upon arriving at the emergency room Chad was not himself and was very disoriented. At the hospital they had to sedate and intubate him in order to proceed with treatment. After much testing in ICU we have found out he has sepsis and currently fighting various infections. We are currently on day 4 of treatment and he is stable, but not ready to come of out sedation.

We are hopeful he will recover without complications and are praying everyday that things go smoothly in the days ahead. The doctors and nurses have been so amazing. It's been hard, but I need help. Chad being in the ICU means he is also missing work. He brings most of the income and we will have hospital bills to follow that will need to be take care of.
