I’d be so thankful if you helped me get to School

Hey Village,
Asking for help in the real impactful ways is hard. But doing hard things is worth it when you want something bad enough. And if it was my best friend in my position, I’d encourage her to reach out to her community.
I really really really reeeeeaaalllllyyyyy want to be able to accept the great scholarship I received for Graduate School and I’m currently doing as much as I can. I have been since I’ve been accepted.
I have mostly been a stay-at-home-working-mom for the last 5ish years because of finishing undergrad and then the pandemic. For work, I am currently: 1) taking freelance flute gigs 2) helping with business branding 3) selling my journals 4) taking promotional events 5) taking flute students 6) taking UX/UI work that comes my way 7) astro readings/tarot readings (in case you’d like to purchase a service of any kind)
I *was* also driving for UberEats for extra income but as many of you know, my car (Sheila) gave up on me at the end of May. I literally drove her into the ground because I was driving so much. I would often drive for 12 hours at a time. I have no regrets though because I felt thankful to be able to provide for the boys in whatever capacity. Truly.
Freelance jobs have made the most sense for me as a mom since the boys are so young and the pandemic. I feel that will change a bit as Eric will now be entering Kindergarten and finding a daycare or pre-k for one might be easier. Emphasis on easier. :) I trust my capacity to figure out how to make the most of the area and my circumstances. And also, I am not above working odd (but safe) jobs.
The amount of the gofundme would cover getting us: a security deposit at a new home, a flight (since we don’t have a car) for the boys and I, and mailing the things we can to the new place.
Even with my prestigious scholarship, I will also have $5000 to pay for the year. I’m not including it in the price above because I don’t need that today and I do believe in my capacity to have that sorted in enough time. I did want to list it in case someone felt called to invest in my future in that way.
I know many of you reading this probably care about me as much as I care about you and that’s why you’ve taken the time to read this. If you don’t have the capacity to donate, I want you to know that I really get it. A share would also mean so so so so much to me, my future, and the boys.
Thank you again for reading, sharing, and/or donating!
