Idle Hands needs help from those who can.

Friends, these are trying times for us all. I’m making this campaign as a Hail Mary in an effort to be able to raise enough money to pay my rent and hopefully my staff for at least the next 2 weeks. This is a bakery and I can operate in a take out capacity but I’m growing increasingly weary of doing even that. As there is no specific government mandate on whether or not tiny businesses will be afforded any economic relief, I’m coming to you. 

I pledged to continue to bake bread and offer it to those in need and I will do just that twice a week whether or not I close for normal business. 

I started my bakery with just a small amount of money and I have reached out to the community before to help and have been so lucky. The financial health of the bakery was not in question just a week ago but without regular steady sales days the future doesn’t look good.

I ask that if and only if you can help, I will some how make it worth it for you. I don’t know what that looks like but my promise is that on the other side of this, if I can make it, I will continue to be here for you. 

With no clear understanding of what is happening or what the future holds, I send my love to everyone for being with me along for this ride these past 4+ years.
