Last year three of our colleagues tragically lost their lives due to Covid-19.
In memory of Vinod Shukla, Jyoti Kumari, and Mani Kiran Babu, IDP has established The Future Fund in India.
Jyoti is survived by her husband and broader family, at the time of her passing she was preparing to be a mother for the first time. Mani left behind his wife and three small children, including twins who were just a year old. Vinod left behind his wife and two teenage children.
The Future Fund will provide ongoing assistance to their families and will provide the security for Vinod and Mani’s children to access to education from primary school until they complete their university degrees.
Across our global team, our goal is to raise AUD$30,000 - With IDP matching every dollar raised, potentially providing AUD$60,000 for The Future Fund. All donations will be held in a registered Trust Fund in India, providing these families with confidence that their children’s education is secured.
Please note the 'Beneficiary' listed is Julie Hutchinson, our IDP Group Financial Controller who is acting on behalf of IDP and the trust and is managing the funds to ensure they are safely transferred to the Trust in India.
