Hello all, I am writing today to ask for your help as our family goes through a trying time. Rob has recently developed some health complications that require him to be put on the organ donor list for a heart transplant, and as you can imagine, this will not only be extremely difficult as our family navigates this chapter in our lives, but will create a significant financial challenge as well. I am humbly asking for the help of any and all of our friends, family, and loved ones who have shared parts of their lives with us and honored us by creating so many wonderful memories throughout the years. There are two key ways in which we're asking for help:

Firstly - I've set up a GoFundMe (Link GoFundMe here) that is open to donations from any that are willing and able to help. This will be used to assist in medications post-surgery (some that he'll have to be on for the rest of his life), as well as help with my lodging and meals while he's in the hospital undergoing the surgery and recovery process. Times have been hard the last couple of years, and while it's difficult to ask, every little bit helps.

Secondly - I'd love to collect memories of experiences that you've had with Rob and I over the years. While I know I'm biased in thinking that Rob is one of the most genuine, kind hearted, selfless people I've ever known, I'd truly love to hear the ways he has impacted your life as well. If you have a special memory (or as many memories as you have time to write down), please send a message so that we can hold to those brighter days with friends and loved ones as we go through these hard times.
