Michaels story in his own words.
"If you love someone tell them. If you need to help someone or lift them up do it. You never know how long you have sometimes just millimeters."
"I fell off a first floor roof landed on a piece of rebar sticking out of the ground my co worker was able to cut the rebar releasing me from the ground so I could be rushed to st Elizabeth's. The trauma team of doctors and nurses were ready to go into action. I was able see my wife and brother in law before they took me back for emergency surgery. The doctors performed the surgery without a hitch. The doctor said it was millimeters from severing several vital arteries and damaging my esophagus and voice box. The rebar did nick a minor jugular vein but the vascular surgeon was able to patch it right up. The trauma team completed the surgery in about an hour. Recovery from anesthesia took about an hour. My lovely wife there when i woke up so I could sing to her you are so beautiful. I was on a liquid diet for 2 days because of the intibateing tube they inserted for surgery. I was able to put on some street clothes today and I was able to eat solid food last night. I am being released today some time. The main concern now is that I dont develope an infection so im being sent home to finish a regiment of antibiotics and recover."
