Sadaqah Jariyah for Ifrah Mohamed Ahmed Alosaily

“Surely we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return”

On 1st August 2023, my beloved mother Ifrah Ahmed returned to our Lord. As her daughter, I spent time wondering how best I could honour her time in this world and continue her good deeds into the next life. The Muslim community has been incredibly supportive during this difficult time. The Prophet ﷺ said: “When a person dies, all his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, or beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who will pray for him.”

As a result, I have set up a Gofundme page in honour of her memory in the hopes of creating continuous means of charity that will benefit her transition into the hereafter. The money raised through this Gofundme will be used in collaboration with an Islamic charity to help those in need.

“Those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah and do not follow their charity with reminders of their generosity or hurtful words will get their reward from their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve” [2:262] Al-Baqarah.

May Allah accept her as a martyr and grant her the highest rank of Jannah. Please keep her and our family in your prayers.

May Allah reward you all greatly for your contributions. May He ease the suffering of our ummah, and unite us all in Paradise.
