"If These Wa's Cuid Talk"

Hello Folks!

"If These Wa's Cuid Talk..." they'd tell tales of 170 years of Dundees textile industry, and the stories of over 50,000 workers at it's peak. They'd tell of accidents, fires and explosions; of good times and bad, and how the buildings themselves have outlasted an industry which at one time seemed unstoppable...

My name is Alison Carrie, and for the past 2 years, I have been researching & documenting the remaining Dundee jute mills. I have been doing my own homework, supplying my own photography, and writing the book. "If These Wa's Cuid Talk" will include brand new photos, new graphics and walking routes for readers to follow round "Juteopolis".

So far, the whole project has been done on a shoe-string budget, and now I need YOUR help! I'm looking for funding to cover the printing & publishing costs of 1000 copies of my book, "If These Wa's Cuid Talk". As soon as the funds have been gathered, I will be sending the book to print.

This means the world to me, as it has been "my baby" for 2 years now, and I'd love to see all my hard work come to fruition.
